Hi, I’m Dessie! I’m so thrilled you stopped by. As a passionate soul who loves transforming spaces into beautiful homes, I truly believe that everyone deserves a place where they feel comfortable and inspired.
I love using natural, organic materials, and the classic decor style is definitely my thing. Shopping for eco-friendly, sustainable items brings me so much joy, and I adore the calm, serene vibe that neutral pastel colors bring to any space. Recently, we bought an old house that we are about to renovate, and I can’t wait to infuse it with the organic, natural elements and soft color palette that I love.
Creating video content is another passion of mine. Whether it’s for my latest home finds or sharing organizing or cleaning advice, it truly brings me so much joy and allows me to connect with others who share my passion, creating a wonderful community of like-minded people.

My Journey and Inspirations
About a year ago, I decided to leave my corporate job, where I had spent more than 10 years, in search of something that truly inspired me. Those years taught me so much and brought me to where I am now, but I know many of you can relate to feeling burnt out and out of place, even while meeting wonderful people along the way. My transition to blogging was gradual as I considered myself a really creative person and always wanted to bring out this side of me more. Finally, I managed to shift my mindset in this direction and start doing what I truly want and long for. It wasn’t an easy path, but it has been incredibly rewarding. I’m still learning every day and loving every moment of it.
I had a deep passion for creating this lifestyle blog where I could share my thoughts on home decor ideas, find the best affordable solutions, and share my discoveries. I’m full of creativity and ideas, and I wanted to show my world and hopefully be helpful to someone out there. This is a huge part of who I am. But there’s more to my story. I’m also a loving wife and a proud mom of a beautiful 8-year-old girl. Family means everything to me, and our gatherings are always filled with so much love and laughter.
Balancing my creative passions with my family life has been a big part of my journey. Every step has taught me valuable lessons about resilience, perseverance, and the importance of following your dreams.
